Well, I gave it an 8 and I wasnt a fan of the Dornish scenes. That being said, the episode was so filled with great little moments, that it outweights the bad, so I can justify my 8 : Pros : - Game of Faces - both scenes were great. - Arya giving the Gift of Death was beautifuly done as well. - Tyrion / Jorah discussing Jeor. - Tyrion skepticism about Dany and Jorah's blind faith contrast. - Tyrion's tongue to get them (and himself) out of trouble and that "cock merchant" line (AAA was brillant !) - Olenna's first punchline of the season as she comes back. - Littlefinger / Lancel meeting. Nice set-up. - Littlefinger playing Cersei like a harp. - Olenna and Cersei dialogue. - Finn Jones getting to act finally and the inquisition scene ! (Though I wonder if Margaery will only fall for lying to the Gods or if it will go further). - Alfie Allen. - The beautiful scenery of the wedding, and the music ! Ramin Djawadi delivers ! - The focus on Reek's face during the wedding consomation. - "That explains the Golden hand !" - The Dornishman's Wife ! - Areo Hotah was impressive ! - "She got pregnant. That was boring." Hehehe, I see what you did there ! - A subtle one but : Autumn in Dorne. I know people expect a full-sunny landscape there, but it's Autumn, remember ! Cons : - Jaime / Bronn vs Sand Snakes. - Only a glimpse of Doran. - No Sand Snakes getting a little bit more fleshed-out, though that may (and will) come. - Would have liked a little bit more exposition during the Hall of Faces scene. - I know the blizzard is coming next week, but not enough snow at Winterfell. So, yeah, all in all, I stick to my 8/10.

Wow, the ratings are quite harsh ! I wonder how many people went there rating the episode on their initial hot-headed reaction ? The episode does not deserve so much "1/10", really... I gave it an 8, for one.

Gave it a 9... though I was very close to 10 !

Gave it an 8. Dorne bored me and the fight on the beach was way too long. But otherwise, the rest was very solid.

Liam "Davos" Cunningham was in the latest Musketeers episode.

So far, I've only watched the first two episodes of the second season of Utopia. Contrary to other show, I cant binge-watch that one, I take it quite slowly. Only four episodes to go but I'm curious as to where they are taking their story this season, especially since it should give a closure.

Probably already mentioned but Rose Leslie had a role in Utopia, in a special entire flashback episode where she played a younger version of one of the characters.

And Dontos Hollard in the S8 premiere.

David Bradley (Frey) was excellent in the Doctor Who special documentary they did for the anniversary ! And I was the same with a friend during Oblivion ! Couldnt stop the Jaime jokes ! :D

Something I picked up on re-re-watch : when Yara leaves Pyke, the camera lingers on that tall bearded man who we see quite clearly again on the ship. Maybe it's nothing but I could see this guy becoming a little side-kick or "three-line-silhouette-character", who knows. I'm ready to bet we will see more of Rickon through Yara.

Fav scene of the episode : Jon - Ygritte. Least fav scene of the episode : Varys - Shae.

One of the guys at the TwoP forum mentionned that the WW spared Sam just like one spared Will in the prologue of the show: because they "yielded", "surrendered"... well, this is not the way of the books, but could work in the TV show.

Just what I felt too... hope some of the Unsullied will find so soon.

I for one, despite my deception on how Jon's story was handled is pretty satisfied with the episode, no real change. All the stories are wrapped up according to the book. Even the Hotu who translates better to TV this way. It would have been too cheasy to do it as in the books.
