  1. Mbappe's ego will better learn how to handle that, or Mbappe will be heard of Neymar.
  2. He gave his cheeks to them, that lacked of the ass (plucked of the hairs)

Police killing a young man is the worst result - so far.
  6. Another playlist: Cat Power - Sea of Love Agnes Obel - Run Cried the Crawling Angel Olsen - Waving Smiling First Aid Kit - Sailor Song (I linked this years ago, but I needed it for the autoharp) Jason Isbel and the 400 Unit Amanda Shires -Cross Bones Style (Cat Power cover) The last one being my runner up for song of 2021, beaten by a hair by a song I linked to in the metal thread. the latter perfectly puts this painting that intrigued me for decades into music. Jinjer - Sleep of the Righteous What's Your song of 2022? I draw blank for the past year - there have been great releases, but nothing has gripped me.
  7. I was inspired to make a little three song playlist. Agnes Obel - The Curse Jefferson Airplane -Rejoyce Colin Stetson and Sarah Neufeld - The Rest of Us
  8. @broken one, My favorite Laibach song still is their version of Across the Universe Ommm. 3 For recent media consumption I'm relistening to The Cramps _ Goo Goo Muck 4 The first time I heard The Cramps was in 1986 when a classmate asked me to acompany / help him buying an electric guitar. He got a black Epiphone Les Paul. A choice I still ( and I think Poison Ivy would do too) approve of. He really was into The Cramps, but I don't know why he asked me for help. As I still have a hard time listening to more than five songs without at least one of them featuring Angel Olsen Angel Olsen & Sturgill Simpson - Big Time 5 There's a young actress I've been intrigued by. Here she impersonates a hopefull stage performer interpreting a lewd christmas song. Marli Siu - It's That Time of Year 6
  9. I usually refrain from posting top fourty songs, but this one seems appropriate in multiple ways. Also, for Elisabeth.
  10. Is it the Wind Witch? Out of the handfull of ships on my mind, she seems to fit best.
  11. @Annara Snow I want to issue an apology for my last post. While I do double down on my errors all the time, I despise people who do so deliberately . I'm still grumpy about that meme.
  12. @Annara Snow I don't know. I'm neither an anglicist nor did I major in german studies. I think the way I put it, emphasises that it is the hard work generating wealth that is questioned. You made me search the internet and now I know that there is a meme that says "If hard work pays, show me (a) rich donkey, which makes me like the proverb much less.
  13. Thank you, I heard it on the radio and liked it very much as well. I'm not quite happy with my translation from german. It literally said "make one rich" (reich machen), that didn't sit quite right with me. There are layers to my translation that I like. I think the awkward scientific "generate wealth" makes you think about it. Thinking can be the most enriching work and if it is, is it still hard?
  14. That's the one. Seat of House Vance, named after Jack Vance's character "Liane the Wayfarer".
  15. Not a Character Object Not a Weapon Not a body part Exists during the five books Physical Object In Westeros Name not mentioned in a female pov Not garment Name not mentioned in AGOT Bigger than a shoe box Not moveable Most likely a castle (We haven't seen it yet. Typically it is / has / is called a castle) South of the Neck In Rivertlands or Vale Not in the Vale Not destroyed Not Seaguard or Pinkmaiden Getting very warm, but I think the last ones do not fit my hint, that the Name was mentioned only once on page ( I mean the story not the appendices). Eta: Just checked Pinkmaiden does fit ( to my surprise), though Arya notices the sigil of pink maiden. Also the spelling is really important, when checking. I noticed when lookin for Seaguard - it's Seagard.
