  1. Damm it D&D I trusted you not to turn this show into aDwD. (By which I mean, a lot of great moments huge buildup and the climaxgets delayed until next book/episode) sigh. If it was not possible to have everything this episode I would have at least liked to have the battle at Cb before (maybe instead of the Yara scene?) As sad as I am for losing Pyp, at least that means he will not replace Marsh. (That had been a theory) How dare those filthy men onf the NW slay a giant as brave and heroic as Mag? (excep fo Grenn, I wish he hadn't been a dead man from the moment the trailers aired) I must also say I Owen Teale was an awesome Thorne and I will regret it when/if he dies. It is still one of the best episodes of the season (after 2 and 8, that is)

I think I already said that in this thread, but I think it might be some greyscale-related discoloration.
  3. There is one; http://ifcatelynlove...now.tumblr.com/ I liked the discussion, I'll admit that I may ship Jaime and Cersei more than I should. ETA: Or did you mean a thread about what caused the war?
  4. If Cat had loved Jon Snow, the Lannisters would have never had an incestuous relationship.
  5. LF was the one planning the war. He took advantage of their incest, and helped Jon and Ned to discover it. He blamed Tyrion for Bran's murder attempt and I still think he might have influenced Loras to convince Renly. (I think that, at least in the books, he works closer with the Tyrells. ETA: And, while trying to murder Bran was wrong in spite of everything, I don't think Robert would have let their children live, either.
  6. Ok, maybe I didn't express myself correctly. (English is not my first language) In the first book/season you get the impression that Jaime is a ruthless, power-hungry character and you get a very biased impression of him. I see his season 3 arc more of a change of that impression than a true redemption. You understand him better, you understand he is a person who has done awful things for the people he loves (especially Cersei) and would them again. I am not saying he is justified, but it gives him a great deal of humanity. ETA: Where is the moral problem of mutual incestuous love? And besides, nobody complains about Loras, a Kingsguard who was having sex with the King, his brother-in-law.
  7. He wants too. He wants to marry Cersei and let everyone know how much he loves her. She doesn't.
  8. Great episode. Dragonstone is just getting creepier and I think the fetuses were quite well managed. Shireen is simply adorable. Is her hair really blonde, though? It seems to me that Selyse's wasn't and it got me thinking it was actually some kind of decoloration due to the grayscale. And yes, I also like them showing Stannis' more human side. I never noticed them not naming Sandor in the show. (But then, I never noticed Selmy being absent from the small council or the Dragons not being named) We may not see them burn, but we will learn about it. It would be interesting to see the Melissandre-Selyse dinamics when she asks for the babies. For a moment I did not recognize the Unsullied and it was some kind of (positive) wtf because it seemed as if they were going to show us the story of Aegon's conquest. It created a strong link between both characters. It is more than just changing and becoming a better person. At this point you start to realize how he has been made a villain to the eyes of everyone. In the books, you start to learn his story from his own perspective instead of Ned's. (And he tries really hard to make all Lannisters seem so evil). I loved his scene with Roose. There was true terror on his facewhen he thought Cersei might have died.
  9. Great espisode! I started to clapped when it ended and my brothers thought I was some kindo of weirdo. Ramsay´s and Daenerys scenes were just fantastic. I got goosebumps. I think that since they are still mentioning Pod´s habilities, there is something darker going on there. (at least I hope so) Exactly my thoughts I do think that´s how it happens in the books. And I think Mandon Moore is replaced by one of the Kettlebacks(I never get their names straight)
