  1. 10, like the majority. This was not a perfect episode, but 10 is the only rating that can express how much I enjoyed this.
  2. 6/10 I'm ok with everything included in that episode except the Dorne stuff. In fact, this is true for every episode since the beginning of this 5th season. How can a good show like this include something so stupid?
  3. 8/10 I liked everything except that stupid Sand Snakes scene. Full of doubts about the Jaime/Bronn and Sansa/Littlefinger stories, but the scenes are very good so ok for now. "You know nothing, Jon Snow" and "Shireen of House Baratheon" were great.
  4. 7/10 I'm very happy that they are not rushing things. Well, except for the Dragonstone stuff, which is very strange... I believe they must have a budget reason for this. For example they don't plan to have Gendry and Davos next year, and the next time we see Stannis is during the battle of the Wall. I liked a lot : - Arya and the Hound are fantastic and the killing scene was a very nice surprise - Sam and Bran : the Rat Cook ! and a very nice meeting scene - The Twins : Roose and Walder are great - The Council. Tywin + Tyrion + Joffrey scene, such a delight. I liked : - Dragonstone. Ok Stannis character is altered but I really wouldn't use the word "destroyed" here. - Seeing Balon and Yara. My opinion is there presence in this episode implies that the Iron Island stuff WILL NOT be cut at all. I didn't like : - Varys and Shae. Ok they start building Shae's betrayal but what is Varys doing there... It reminds me of Varys and Ros in the season 2 finale -> a boring scene with the eunuch foresees some violent death. - Daenerys. Like many others, I didn't like this scene. I have not big issue with Dany as the final scene, however (I just wished the scene was good). They don't want to show LS now, fine : her introduction in the Books is so great. Now I hope we WON'T see the brotherhood finding her body and they will use the hangings as a mystery.
  5. 10 of course. I won't ever nitpick about GOT : I spent too much time watching awful screen adaptations of the other books I loved.
  6. The problem I have with this episode is that Episode 6 was slow, so I expected more action in this one. The issue is with the global script, not with the episode itself. I also had no big problem with the Theon scenes so far but I changed my mind this week : enough of that ! We got it : "Boy" is a very nasty guy and Theon made the wrong choice, now it's time to show them do something else (or to stop showing them) But I enjoyed every other scenes : The Bear was great. Dany is perfect this season. At last, Jon gets the screen time he deserves. I enjoy every King's Landing scene since episode 1 and the Joffrey/Tywin dialog was one of the best (but my favorite remains tywin/cersei/tyrion final scene in episode 5) Melisandre/Gendry was a nice surprise. Also, Qyburn is a character I like a lot in the books and this episode confirmed that he will have a significant role in the show. 7/10
  7. I liked this episode, but not as much as the others. This is a building episode, we need to wait for the really good scenes. I have no problem with the Theon scenes. They cut Ramsay from season 2, now they do what is needed to introduce him properly. The torture scenes replace the stories of his awful deeds that are told in ACoK : making Lady Hornwood (not sure about the name) eat her own fingers, for example. The main question I have now is : are Thormund, Orell and Ygritte (and Jon...) supposed to attack and take Castle Black without any wildling reinforcement ??? Thormund trying this would be great.
  8. 9/10 Il loved everything but I become frustrated by the lack of explanations they give. In this episode, the BwB is the main issue : are non-readers supposed to remember the non-speaking guy sent by Ned Stark to kill the mountain in season 1 ? also, is it possible for them to understand that Thoros of Myr is a red priest ? I really hope the explanations will come soon. I really enjoyed discussing the episodes with non-readers last year, but this year they become more and more confused with the story. One of them even told me he thought Gregor Clegane had been killed in season 2. I also don't like the "Pod=sex god" plot but I still hope it will be revealed as some kind of trick from Tyrion or Pod himself. I understand those who think the Theon/Ramsay scenes should not be there at all, but I think it is important to have a proper introduction of Ramsay. Of course having him introduced in season 2 just like in the books, would have been much better. Best scene = Craster and the Night's Watch. Best surprise = I really like the way they handle the intrigues in King's Landing. The Tyrells are great.
  9. Had to give it a 9. Almost all scenes were great : the Council, Riverrun, Arya, Samwell, Theon and of course Daenerys and Jaime/Brienne. The whorehouse scene was fine but I hope the return of the money is a trick from Tyrion. Jon Snow's scenes are too short. Disturbed by the final music but not a big issue for me.
  10. The new characters are so great ! The Reeds, Thoros and most of all The Queen of Thorns !!! 8/10 for this one. A really great scene (Sansa) and many good ones. So far the only thing I disliked this year is the intro.
  11. 8/10 for me. Very weak intro, so I was quite unhappy when the credits started, but after that... I enjoyed every scene, especially everything that happened in King's Landing. The Lannister scenes are always so great... It's very pleasant to see the Tyrells enter the game ! Their real introduction was in this episode and I think it is a success. I also think the changes are very smart, especially Robb coming to Harrenhal and Barristan revealing his identity.
