Lord of Castamere

Gave it a 9. I enjoyed it. It is a good base for the next season.Not everything has to be epic all the time. I think last episode fulfilled that quota for this season.

Great episode 9/10. There was lots of interesting things going on in several sub plots.

9/10. Just lovely work. Only left 10 reserved for something more amazing. The characters are becoming more and more three dimensional and im loving it. Stunning work.

Another solid 8. TV Dany seems to be lot less irritating this year,which is great. I also like very much how Tyrells are lot more active compared to books. I have to admit. I do not get the Podrick is sex God thing, but thats not bad. The whole plot line is slightly amusing,nothing more, nothing less. I also like that Tywin´s "family man" side is being brought up, children after children. Cant wait to see if he keeps his promise concerning his Grandson. The series this year has been great tv so far, but im still waiting for more.Maybe i am just greedy like that.

Third 8 at a row. To me this episode had the highest and lowest points so far this season. Some scenes were absolutely great, like the last one which did end in Jaime loosing his hand and i loved the dynamics of the small council scene.Some others like the Podric scene and its follow up felt like those had little purpose, while i do not mind the nudity at all. Bit of mixed feelings, but overall a solid episode.

Gave it a solid 8. People are being introduced and the winds are slowly gathering. I like this slow pace, compared to the pace of last season.

Gave it an 8. Had to leave some room for the wow factor coming later. My initial feeling after watching the episode was that i was surprised and somewhat worried about all the deviations in the plot, but after watching the second time my feelings somewhat changed. In the books we are trapped inside the mind´s of different pov characters, who view and judge other characters in very biased way. Now with this adaption. We get yet another pov from outside and while it might as be biased in different way. We still get another point of view. I think that might offer us a real opportunity to view many of the characters in different light and that in itself creates a real promise for this show.
