  1. Seriously? He dances? I missed that in the preview. Edmure dancing at the RW??? :smug:  :lmao:
  2. Stannis is so adorable when he's playing daddy. I wish he were my father :P Great episode, with the best pacing since season 1 IMHO, but it didn't have many climatic moments, so I gave it an 8. Pretty good for a mid-season episode.
  3. You know an episode was fantastic when you see it scoring a 10 from the majority of the members of Westeros.org. That's a very rare sight in these parts.
  4. At first I was really pissed at Stannis's beach scene, but then, after rewatching it, I actually thought it was not out of character for him. Then I found this text on Tumblr and now I actually like the scene:
  5. Ha! I thought I was the only one who loved hearing his first name for the first time
  6. I torrented the episode after having watched it on TV, so please, tell me, what did I steal? I'm sure there are others who did the same as I did. But let us not turn this tread into a piracy thread. Aye, when he got all cozy with Mel and said he wanted her it looked like he was lying just to convice her to make some shadowbabies. You can see he drops the act when Mel rejects it. But the scene was still pretty weird anyway.
  7. I first watched the show on TV and it only started after the episode was over, but later I downloaded a pirate version to rewatch the episode and the same happened to me. The song started playing while Locke was pointing the knife to Jaime's eye. It made me laugh pretty hard
  8. Was I the only one who loved the Jaime/Brienne fight? It's much more technical and skill-based than all the others in the show. Instead of the classical hit and miss of most movies and shows, this one is all about momentum and stamina. I could almost spot a stamina bar over Jaime's head draining after each block or attack.
  9. Really enjoyed this episode. I gave it a 9. I didn't mind the Cat change. I never cared much about Catelyn anyway, but it was a good scene if you avoid comparisons with the book. The only thing that bothered me a bit were the lenght of some scenes. Some must've lasted less than two minutes. Other than that, everything was great, and that was the sole reason I didn't give it a 10. Hi, Ramsay, how ya doing? Good to finally see you, bro!
  10. Yeah, it's much more painful for him in the books, but a scene on TV always touches me much more than on a book, especially if it has a touching track playing during the scene. Maybe I'm not much of a reader, but some sad scenes on the book didn't touch me much. The RW shocked me, but it didn't make me want to cry. I expect it's version on the show to do, though, because of its medium.
  11. Aye, it was great. I felt my eyes watering a bit in that scene :crying:
  12. This was my favorite premiere so far. I don't know if it's because I knew all about the episode before watching it, but I have nothing of importance to complain. I gave it a 9. I just don't give it a 10 because Jon's introduction to Mance was much, much better in the book, and because of the lack of the battle of the Fist (which bothered me much less than I expected). Still, I loved this episode.
  13. This was my favorite premiere so far. I don't know if it's because I knew all about the episode before watching it, but I have nothing of importance to complain. I gave it a 9. I just don't give it a 10 because Stannis sounded too much like a douche when he ordered his men to arrest Davos, and because of the lack of the battle of the Fist (which bothered me much less than I expected).
