I gave it a 1. The WoS would have been great but all that time flashing to full frontal nude shots was overkill. Did I say kill? Plenty of that Arya really really overdone Trent having 3 girls lined up for beating? Yes he's an asshole yes he deserves to die don't like their version of Arya All the snow is burned away & Theon & Sansa jump from the wall? The whole Castle Black scene was a mess Oly? It passes me off that they show John as having no friends but Sam Why would a show leave out dialogue w characters like Dolorous Ed & Tormund. Dany leaves a ring in a vast grassland so she can be tracked? When is she going to be sited for Dragon abuse? Poor guys She was too busy to care for them Daarios & Jorah as sidekicks

Jaime is wonderful in the last books. He is wry, cynical & most of all very observant. It's through Jaime that you find out the fate of Jayne Poole & other minor characters who are the major lychpins for big events, In Dorne, he just seems stupid & awkward the same with BRonn. Neither of them seem comfortable in the roles this season.

I gave it a 2. Big mess of an episode. Always thought Shireen would burn but Stannis can't possibly do that in the books. They are too far away from the Wall where Shireen & Selsye are located. I see nothing in the alleged GRRM to D&D quote that says Stannis gives her to Mel to sacrifice. Dorne is so silly & frustrating ..with some good writing & cut the Sandsnakes time down way down & it could a nice addition to the show. I find Dorne intriguing in the books & they never truly surrendered to the Targs Mereen was hilarious. The harpies seriously out number Dany& Pals & still can't take them out. No, they all wait in a ring to get torched by Drogon, Drogon stretched his neck & body towards Dany in a touching moment but he was covered in nasty spines. Ahem how can she ride him like that? Tyrion needs to design a special saddle and lead for them.Speaking of Tyrion,poor guy was almost trampled in the flight from stands. Luckily, he grabbed a knife to use on one of the Sons of h's rushing at Missy Bad choreography
