  1. But they would have to include the Harry the Heir storyline, including bits from TWOW. Sansa's whole storyline involves LF marrying her off to gain power, so I don't see why it can't be to Ramsay instead of Harry the Heir. Like I said it's just a case of streamlining. Life for women in Westeros involves being married off to men against your will and in cases raped. It's what happened to Cersei and countless other women. Just because Sansa started off as a child actor doesn't mean it's not a valid plot point. Didn't you read the books? They need Ramsay to marry a Stark to keep their hold on the North. In the books it was Arya (or fake Arya), but in the show it was Sansa. It's a straightforward merging of the Winterfell and Sansa/Harry the Heir storylines, and one that saves a massive amount of screentime.
  2. But that would have meant creating a whole new storyline for Sansa in the Vale, and there wasn't time for that. I don't think you understand how hard it is to edit an epic like ASOIAF into a coherent TV show. I think they've done a fantastic job with the Sansa storyline, successfully streamlining it by merging it with the Winterfell storyline, without having to add even more minor characters like Harry the Heir, Farya and Manderly. The only mistake they made was to include Myranda (god knows why they did that).
  3. 6/10. Would have been a 7 were it not for the shockingly bad Dornish scenes. Personally I thought the wedding and the bedding were done brilliantly. Creepy and traumatic but it was always going to happen from the moment she accepted the proposal.
  4. 9/10. Perfect with the exception of the Missandei/Greywom scene. Also I completely called the Jorah greyscale thing weeks ago. 10 points to me.
  5. To be fair the haggard old crone with prophetic powers is a bit of a cliche. Having Maggy be a young woman doesn't actually change anything and was a legitimate change in my opinion. The real question is why did they include the Maggy the Frog storyline in the first place? The whole thing felt a bit stupid in the books anyway, and childhood flashback scenes rarely work well on film.
  6. I was just flicking through the channels and happened to see Gregor Clegane (aka some Icelandic bloke) in World's Strongest Man. It even went a bit GOT at the end when he won the event, then ripped his shirt to pieces before shouting "I am king of the stones!"
  7. Having said that, I think he did bring some wildlings with him. You're right, they'll probably have Jon send Tormund to round up some wildlings in the show.
  8. Spot on, you've absolutely nailed it. This episode was about the brotherhood of the Night's Watch and it was bloody brilliant.
  9. I don't see how it's important whether they have Joffrey clawing at his throat or not. It doesn't alter the story in any way so why does it matter? I would rather D+D use their own skills in making TV rather than copying every tiny little detail from the books, which presumably weren't written with a TV audience in mind.
  10. I'm convinced that it's Coldhands in Bran's vision, only made into a white walker. Why would Bran see a vision of a random white walker? I think Bran sees visions of Coldhands, and what looks like one of the children of the forest (presumably Leaf) because they're going to help him on his way.
