  1. The Creed isn't the group of assassins. It is simply the, well, creed that the group took. So the line is that they traced his bloodline back to a speech.
  2. Well I'll say it if nobody else will. I liked it. My only problem with it is going by the show's history, it won't be able to keep the tension this episode had. As a stand alone episode, it rocked my nerves. I just know that they'll be up to their old tricks soon enough. But again, as a self contained episode- it was great.
  3. That Assassin's Creed trailer cracks me up. I want it to be good so bad, and all the talent behind it points to it being great. But fuck me "We traced his bloodline back 500 years to the Assassin's Creed"? Really? Terrible. Just. Just bad.
  4. While watching episode one, Dennis from It's Always Sunny yelling "I'M A FIVE STAR MAN!" kept popping up in my head. It's not my favorite episode so far, but it is quite good. Just close enough to reality to feel positively creepy, but a little too far out to find believable. Great ending though. Episode two has upped the creep factor and Dan Trachtenberg was a fantastic choice as director. Great episode.
  5. Me too, but I've heard they're kinda hateful. I've just finished The Office (US) for the first time. After years of refusing to watch it for some damn reason. Even though season 8 was kinda dull without Michael, I loved the entire show. I'm starting in on The Returned right now. I wish the original show was on Netflix though.
  6. I will hurt you for this. A day will come when you think yourself safe and happy, and suddenly your joy will turn to ashes in your mouth, and you'll know the debt is paid. Gave me some serious chills.
  7. I just... just saw this and. Damn man. Goddamn man.
  8. Holy shit. That was Star Wars. I mean. That was really Star Wars. That was everything I wanted from a Star Wars movie. Plot similarities aside. Yeah there are a couple of things I could nitpick, but holy shit. I loved it. When I've gathered my thoughts, I shall return.
  9. Carry on. Watched a movie called Cold in July with Michael C. Hall, Don Johnson, and Sam Shepard yesterday. Maybe it was because of no expectations, but holy good god that was a great movie.
  10. Now that's funny
  11. I played my first game of Pathfinders yesterday. Having never played any kind of table-top game before, I fucking loved it. Our GM had a full story arc planned out and we completely skipped over complete sections of it. We were supposed to follow a ship down the coast and have a fight in the forest, then ride horses further down the coast, and sneak up on a fort. We sacked the ship, stole it, destroyed a small fleet, and are currently hiding out in their cove under the fort. Needless to say, we improvised.
