(Leftovers of the North) + Vale (United) + Trident (LF as Lord Paramount?) vs King Euron (the 6 ships he has left?) Seems...unfair to say the least going in...

    Second watch...fuck this one just fell flat for me. I really liked episode 8, this...ehhhh. Stannis destruction aside it was still mediocre. I liked the CG on Drogon, but hell, him saving the day was so lame compared to Dany running in confusion and taking control almost by accident (or personal nature). I don't get Dorne, I hate Dorne in the book in the sense that it is my least favourite, but shit, I just don't get it. I figured with Jaime and Bronn it would be a pretty large part of the season, but nothing has happened. Nobody has done anything. It's...pointless. Myrcella and Trys are empty shells. Doran who looks amazing and his small screen time is excellent has 4 lines.

    What if Myranda threatens Sansa and Ramsay does Ramsay things while he's trying to prove how "sweet" he is to Sansa and she finds out his nature. Theon tells her what he is. Plot to escape forms? Just spit balling.

    Why is Littlefinger now speaking like he did in S1 and not like the weird Irish throat sore batman villain from S2-4? Did he forget how to act for 3 years? Or did nobody notice until now how bad that was? Have to give major props to Gillen and Harrington this season for having really good performances in wake of some shaky stuff in earlier seasons.

    Booksullied got ambushed and killed by the harpies too...just without a legendary warrior coming in. Thankfully, Barristan like Jaime is all reputation and no bite in the showverse.

    I agree and I love Stannis. This episode simply kicked ass and was exciting from end to end...well I suppose the sexually frustrated Sam who really could use some of those naughty paintings Loras said Renly had and some time to himself was sort of, meh.

    This episode kicked ass. Thorne is so fucking awesome. That actor is perfect, the loveable asshole. Grenn went out like a boss, sad to see him go, but the Aurochs showed his strength, Ollisatin with the snipe on Ginger Legolas cathartic. Next up Stannis is going to kick the shit out of Mance. The duels were great, the sets were fucking brilliant. Anybody hating on this episode either doesn't like action (Which is fine) or have some kind of weird mental block when it comes to rationality on characters and time limits. Aka three of my friends who said this episode sucked because there was no Dany :crying:

    In the TV show she has an emo haircut and people are actually afraid of her despite being 3 foot nothing with noodle arms, while in the book everybody laughs at her being a threat?
