I do not know if this is an actual reference, or just a coincidence.... In ADWD, Jorah gets a helmet with ram horns. If ADWD wasn't some monts older than Skyrim, I'd say Jorah might be sort of Dovahkiin in the future.

Tyrion thinks of Yezzan zo Qaggaz as 'monstrous yellow slug', or so . Is it a reference to Jabba the Hutt from Star wars? He is incredibly rich and owns slaves as well.
