  1. how long ago was the red wedding? what do you think is left after that much time in the river?
  2. And LSH isn't a character....she's a plot device. End of story.
  3. All this "stimulating" discussion of the plot book vs, hbo aside, I'm amazed that some are searching diligently for "clues" that LSH may still appear. Obviously Beric is still here - so there goes that vehicle. And how much of her do you think is left after 2 years in the river?
  4. I know I'm in the minority, but I for one am pleased that the showrunners have spared us LSH. A one-dimensional soulless revenge-driven zombie - what's not to love? Arya and the Hound can do the same amount of carnage with much more personality.
  5. I don't get the obsession with LSH - she was a stupid character in the books and would be just as inane in the show....a speechless zombie focused solely on revenge.
  6. we're all unsullied now.....
  7. thank you...........a breath of sanity among the book-kooks
  8. He's out of military options. His stores have been destroyed, many of his horses killed and WINTER IS COMING. He sees his only option as going forward and needs a big hand from the Red God. Mel has been going on and on about the value of "king's Blood" and the necessity of sacrifice.....how is it you don't get this?

  10. Stannis has single-mindedly pursued his "destiny" since we first met him. He's obsessed with the Iron Throne, Why is everyone so shocked that he will take ANY measures he deems necessary?
