Not sure if it's been posted already but damn this track is awesome. picked up childish Gambino's shit because I've been wanting to hear it but hip hop has been off my radar for bit. my son's turned me on to this cat named hopsin and I dig his flow big time. I didn't like Because The Internet as much as I thought I would. Had a few great tracks but most of it really didn't grab me. Liked Camp a lot more. Hopsin has some talent. I just wish he would quit this whole "diss whoever's biggest right now to get attention" thing. It's pretty lame.

Have you read the script that goes along with BtI? Because apparently that can be pretty instrumental in enjoying the album. Agree about Hopsin. He makes boasts about himself (which is common I guess) but also disses people a lot better than him, then does nothing to back up how he's better than them. Overall, his music is fun, just nothing outstanding or substantial.

Fat Mac
Nope, maybe I should check that out. It's definitely worth the read I think. But even after that I still think Camp is better, or at the very least more listenable.
Fat Mac
Decided to give Run the Jewels a listen since I've never heard it and I've seen people rave about it. Holy fuck. I'm disappointed in myself for not listening to this earlier. Its 33 minutes of absolute perfection.

andrew_
Been listening to Flatbush Zombies lately, they are such a breath of fresh air! So many good tracks, all produced in house by one of their members (Eric "the Architect" Elliot).A mix of hardcore gangsta rap and the smooth New York style of the 90's. Both their mixtapes are free D.R.U.G.S and BetterOffDead on DatPiff. Some of my favorites: Breakfest AT ePiffanies: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A8ePVHSgIlgLaker Paper: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VWz8UYPoMRwMRAZ: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FaUyq18r_GIFace-Off: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ix8kLAPQsjEMy Team SUPREME: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ySdRj0Apj98&list=PLv7EUwZVr0gwrQOMPeM68TKKf3WWuFsSBRegular and Complex: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ipEaZ2f1ak&list=PLv7EUwZVr0gwrQOMPeM68TKKf3WWuFsSB

Born Sinner
I wanna give Childish Gambino a try, is his material good enough? It's very unusual and some don't like it due to his nasal voice but try for yourself. I'd recommend you to listen to the "Camp" album first. I remember listening to that back in high school in like '98. Cage has done some good shit over the years. Remember when him and eminem had beef? Common compares the mixtape to Wu-Tang Clan's early work, blending hip-hop with martial arts movie samples and such. Big Boi has a song about Dany. This is either going to be amazing or hilariously awful and I can't wait to find out which. Drops on Friday I think.

Born Sinner
I like the idea.Game of Thrones as weird as it seems is suited for Hip Hop. Game of Thrones and Hip Hop are both pretty much about power, also with Common this is in good hands.
