A new discussion on A Song of Ice and Fire

Hey people,

I've been out of commission for a couple of months dealing with personal issues and keeping my grades under control. If you remember me at all, you'll probably recall that in December I issued an invite to a blog I'd started and my project to review ASOIAF chapter by chapter. Life got in the way, but it was actually for the better. Rather than return to that project I decided to go for a more panoramic view of the points I wanted to bring up in my blog entries. I think this approach works a lot better, actually.

I'm not going to lie, I do have a critical slant, but I try to be as fair as I can. Plus, I'm hoping the humorous, Mr. Plinkett-like approach will make it fun to read and keep me from taking myself too seriously. I figure with some of you guys keeping me in check I'll attain a satisfying degree of fairness. Anyway, give it shot, see if it's something you'd be interested in:
