Faceless Ninja Posted April 15, 2014 Share Posted April 15, 2014 Who could be the Arya imposter the Lannisters sent to the Dreadfort for Ramsey Bolton to marry? (Poor girl) Is it Jeyne Poole? I had remembered her and wondered what had happened to her since she disappeared after briefly being detained with Sansa Stark in the wake of the the Lannister coup in the first book. Sansa/Alayne briefly remembers her too in this book. I can't even remember much about JP, except that she was Sansa's friend. Was her father a Stark knight - part of Ned's ill-fated retinue at court? Seems unlikely it would be a random girl off the streets of Kingslanding. But if the Lannisters had her stashed away for just such an occaision, that was pretty far-sighted of them. In that case, she might be a little old to pass for Arya. But she would have the necessary background knowledge of the Starks and the North to pass for Arya if someone ever asked her questions (and they assume all of Arya's - and Jeyne's{?} family is dead).
