Tysha will be cut completely unfortunately, they will use Shae sleeping with Tywin as more of a motive to kill his father.

Still a pretty crappy motive. Being a hypocrite doesn't merit killing in and of itself.

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't be surprised if they left it out. Just disappointed. I think it would be a stupid move, since the Tysha reveal does a lot for the plot. It's interesting, it's dramatic, it's the whole package. It's what makes Tyrion character take a full turn, what really drives him to the edge and motivates him to go up to that tower and kill Shae and his father.

Even if the viewers don't remember Tysha at all, a flashback in the beginning paired with a little exposition would easily reintroduce them to the situation. And they will definitely get the point: Tywin and Jaime pulled a gigantic dick move on Tyrion and an innocent girl. Ergo, Tyrion's pissed.

Tysha not mentioned at all

I thought the guy said that she was mentioned twice in both conversations, just not the "I killed your vile son" part in response to Jaime. Either way, who cares

I'm not saying he's seen the episode, I'm just saying nothing that he says could be ruled out as far as the show's progression is concerned.

tl;dr i'm not sayin' i'm just sayin' :)

^And when she's happy. Just in general really. Though she pales in comparison to Missandei (in looks and skin tone). :cool4:

If they wanta turn the whole show into Missandei-Daenerys lesbian porn and forget the plot, I guess I don't really ever have to find out what happened to Tyrion. . . .

I've already pretty much decided the season finale will likely be the last episode I watch, but if they really do omit Tysha then 100% I'm done. That would just be changing too much stuff for my taste.

They won't, because Tysha has objectively NOT been cut from the show... they mention her in every season, even this one, why would they do that without, you know.. bringing up her biggest role, the driving force behind his falling out with Jamie and murdering of his father?

Cutting Tysha makes zero sense. I was scared of this at first, but after thinking about it for 5 seconds it's very obvious that this is the least likely thing to happen.

Agree. And the 'falling out' with Jaime is oh so much more than a mere falling out. Tyrion's sister has tried to have him killed, she hates him and humiliates and hurts him at every opportunity. Tyrion's father despises him, humiliated him his whole life (gave him the job of taking care of the sewers at the Rock), and has sentenced him to death even though he surely knows Tyrion had nothing to do with Joff's death. Only Jaime--only Jaime--was always trusted, always Tyrion's friend and trusted brother. With the Tysha reveal, Tyrion learns that his trust in his brother has been a lie all these years. And, he learns at the same time that a sweet young girl all those years ago really did love him, for himself, and that his brother and father conspired together to destroy that, destroy her, destroy him. It's soul-crushing, nothing less. And that's why Tysha has to be in.

Just so.

Well in the second promo for The Children it shows Jaime leading Tyrion down a corridor, they are clearly out of Tyrion's cell at this point and doesn't the Tysha reveal occur in the cell? I don't see Jaime and Tyrion stopping to have a nice long chat once they are out of the cell heading toward Varys. This shot of them really worries me that Tysha has been cut, sorry.

Well, but Jaime is sorry for his part in the Tysha debacle, Tyrion is staggered and reeling and pretty much in shock. Jaime says in effect 'but we have no time now for what's past, we've got to get you out of here, now!' Tyrion staggers along with him... I don't really see a problem.

I see where you're coming from, but the choreography doesn't have to be the same as the books. Varys doesn't have to show up at all (although I hope he does, I really want Varys to be a part of this). Whether Varys shows or not, there's no reason the Tysha reveal has to be in the cell.

Do you have a link to the second promo?
