olojkross
Many spaniards don't like bullfighting at all. There are many places that were built in the past where people killed each other in history. Atrocious stuff really. Everyone would be against these acts. Should these buildings be erased? I don't think so. Shouldn't they film in these places? I don't think so either! I'm okay with them filming there and I'm a spaniard and have no sympathy for bullfighting. Ran
I agree that historic sites where atrocities happened have a value in being kept as a reminder. But note the tense -- "happened", past tense. Bullfighting at Osuna's bullring is not a thing of the past. It happens to this day.
Grimbold
What does the show using an arena have anything to do with the thought of it promoting bullfighting? It's using an arena because of the ADwD scene, end of story.
ManyFacedMember
I could potentially say that GoT show promotes violence, sexism and so on.It would make more sense than making a comment about bullfight arena. That is totally irrelevant for this show. Filming in that arena, however, brought us many spoilers for s05.Maybe in that regard, it was 'unfortunate' decision.
