Lord Hanna
Cannot wait for the new season. :D One of the few shows that makes me laugh out loud.
Spring Bass
Yep yep yep! Seriously, I can't wait for the new season. Fun stuff, and it looks like Old Pam is back.
ImpinDornish
Anyone played the Archer drinking game? Get some friends around and get onto that. You'll be messed up after one episode and someone will have to quit, throw up or die in episode 2. The strong will make it through

red snow
Solid start. They've definitely gone back to a more familiar format but, being Archer, they were all meta about it with Archer himself saying "I hate change" and going out of their way to have everything the same as it used to be. Veltigar
Good episode. The season is still warming up, but I'm curious how I'll enjoy this show on a week to week basis. I powered through the last five seasons during summer. EDIT: Also, am I the only one having fun with trying to somewhat identify Archer's timeperiod (it's impossible I know). He has a modern smartphone, but that jet he had to blow up looked more like the type of fighter they used in the Korean War. The SU appears to have fallen or are they just in detente? That wasn't clear to me. And the Japanese soldier should be at least 90 years old. Just great for one show to have all these elements.

I think the most elements point to it being the late 1980s, but obviously there are tons of things pointing to before or after that that make that impossible. red snow
I've always assumed it was contemporary. I'm sure there must have been callouts to shows from this century but the ones that stand out are Top Gear and 80s era.
Gears of the Beast
Good first episode, a bit rough around the edges but I'm very excited for this season.
The BlackBear
I enjoyed it, but nothing huge stood out from this episode for me. Usually there is one line in particular that gets me. I think of it like Gotham, which has old looking cars but cellphones, and never specifically talk about what year they are in.
Quoth
I enjoyed it, but nothing huge stood out from this episode for me. Usually there is one line in particular that gets me. Lord Flashheart
When are we going to get Bionic Bilbo? I missed the first episode. So mad.
Jabronius Maximus
"Eat a buffet of dick, Jungle!" Might be my new catch phrase. loved that one too. The jungle segment as a whole was good. I thought this was a pretty good start to the season, as long as it gets better from here.
armidil0
Great episode. Went straight back to classic Archer almost seamlessly. I was thinking that Archers earrings would be permanent but I guess they didn't want to go that route.
Veltigar
Hmmm, this episode wasn't as funny as I thought it would be. The animation was great (that fight), but I just don't laugh as much as I used to. I still watch Archer gladly, because the characters are so good, so the more emotional stories (like this week with the whole legal guardian thing) are still a treat, but I hope the season picks up with a little more humour next week. The BlackBear
They've definitely changed the animation somewhat. That Lana Archer scene at the end there was much more head moving than usual. 'You cannot make yourself a verb, I will not allow it!''I'm a verb now Lana, deal with it! And then also cover me, please.'
