Stag_legion
May be a combination of a few. The actor doesn't like to do lots of interviews, probably cause you have to embelish in interviews and he doesn't like that. The producers also want to highlight the more popular characters more. I also think stannis will win the throne in the end, he's story arc is most similar to historical figures/kings (minus the shadow magic), and I think him not being a POV character makes it even more likely. John Doe
ooooooor, is it because...... 4) Stannis is the eventual winner in the game of thrones, and HBO wants to keep him in the shadows as far as possible and minimise attension on him, thereby making his eventual victory more of a surprise? I'll go with this one.
Shitmouth the Wise
He's an older character actor, so I don't think self-promotion (or promotion of the show) is really high on his agenda. Charles Dance didn't do a lot of that stuff, either.
TeethGrinder
Gillen is pretty similar. Just doesn't seem to like the spotlight.
of man and wolf
A lot of guys dont like it much or wont do too much. Aside from Dillane...Mark Addy barely in season one..same for Sean Bean, the biggest character. Michael Mcelhattan(probably butchered the last name) doesnt do much, nor does even Iwan Rheon...same for Jack Gleason. Even Alfie doesnt do much in comparison to some of the other peers who he came along with through season one.
Aderyn
Well the number of actors used in promoting each season is very small... Only the fittest and the finest are chosen. But I agree that this seems to make Dillane resemble his character even more. He is one of my favourite casting choices in a show that has quite a many... I was watching tonight's episode and literally during every Stannis scene I would stare at his facial expressions and think, wow, this man has truly studied his character well. #DillanetheMannis
Mister Stoneheart
Very good actor. Master of subtle choices. A lot of actors are quite shy, and quite willing to let the drama happen on stage/on screen...and be their ordinary selves offstage.

Bronn Stone
I get the sense he's at home brooding that he's the rightful star of Game of Thrones and that anyone who says otherwise is a traitor.Or that he just doesn't like them. But I want to believe the first. ETA: What would happen if the interviewer asked him something funny and he smiled or laughed? His face might fall completely off. Better and safer this way. Amaretto
He does come across as a bit Stannis like in his rare interviews about the show: About GoT nudity: "I’m a bit old for it...“It doesn’t particularly appeal to me, reminds me of German porn from the 1970s. But I presume it serves a purpose, and the merits of the show far outweigh my concerns on that score.” On GoT power struggles: I think it’s an accurate and truthful reflection of how power operates, in different societies, and the relatively small part love and affection play in things. It’s a dark view of the human condition that is quite refreshing to see on screen. You just hope you’re satisfying everyone who’s read the books, and cares immensely.”
Rhaegar Jaime Tyrell
60 Seconds With...Stephen Dillane. Better than nothing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6h-W73X0cDs I want some interview with Roose (Michael McElhatton). Kit, Emilie, Nikolaj, Emilia, Peter and Lena have been on loads of times and on a lot of panels. Time for an occassional change.

He just IS Stannis in every gesture, facial expression and even the way he carries himself.
A spoon of knife and fork
Clearly it's not Cuz they hate the character or Davos/melisandre wouldn't be doing so many interviews (you need to admit that these two are the supporting cast fro stannis in the show at least). I really think he's just a private dude. Maybe he's even awkward in interviews, who knows?I just gotta say he is fucking good. I can't stop staring when he's on screen, downright mesmerizing. Go Steve.

They post the say thing for Roose (Michael) and Tywin (Charles). Youtube comments in general are hilarious. They (I presume they are all under 17) all just turn into animals and everyone is so emotional and over the top.
