Stijn
"Ah Cyvasse, a magnificent game! It originally originated in Volantis and was later discovered in Dorne.Only to finally find its way, after all these years, to the land of... Android?"Yep, you read that correctly! The last few weeks I've poured my spare time into a recreation of Cyvasse on Android. It features: - All 10 units: King, Rabble, Mountain, Light cavalry, Spears, Crossbows, Heavy Cavalry, Elephants, Catapults and the allmighty Dragon!- Playing 6 different computer opponents. (disguised as smugglers and sellswords)- Local play! Both pass & play and mirror modesHere's some screenshots:http://kapistijn.com/raisearmy.pnghttp://kapistijn.com/prepare.pnghttp://kapistijn.com/promote.pnghttp://kapistijn.com/charge.pnghttp://kapistijn.com/different.pnghttp://kapistijn.com/manual.pnghttp://kapistijn.com/dynamic_manual.pnghttp://kapistijn.com/options.pngAs we all know however, the rules of Cyvasse are nowhere set in stone. So this version may differ quite significantly from the versions you already know. :)Most notably, the games only take anywhere between 10-20 minutes depending on who you're playing. This is inherrint to the fact that it's a very "aggressive" game, thanks to the cool little promotion mechanic.Either way, It is still a big blend of chess & stratego as we've come to expect! :)So if you like what you see, I would love it if you gave it a try. There's no golden dragons involved! (meaning NO microtransactions & NO advertisements)Feedback would be most welcome, but please make sure you read the manual first before you get destroyed by enemy crossbows. ;)Here's the link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kapistijn.cyvasseAnd most of all, have fun!Kapistijn
Leonardo
Fantastic, what sort of multiplayer functions does this support?
Stijn
Currently it supports 2 versions of local co-op. - Pass & Play: After every move the screen flips, so you both can play from your own perspective. Perfect for when you're sitting next to each other.- Mirror: Only flips the red units. Perfect for when you're sitting at both sides of a table. If there is enough intrest online support can certainly be added. But maybe it's intresting to beat some of the (fairly simple) AI opponents first :)
Leonardo
Ah so there is AI though? That was my issue with the other one, no one to play with as well as there being no defined rules page or tutorialI'll download it soon to give some feedback :)
Stijn
Of course there is!I'll edit the original post so it's more clear it's included. The AI has 3 different playstyles (standard, aggressive & defensive), each with 2 difficulty modes.Translating in the Drunkard, Stranger, Sellsword, Knight, Smuggler and Banker. (I guess you can sort of figure out who is who :)) Each of these playstyles also comes with 2 different opening setups, so you're never 100% certain how they're going to start out.I may even expand that in the future, allowing the AI to learn and use your own openings. ;) And in case of the manual. That's also been taken care of!It's fairly extensive and interactive. (and hopefully clear enough) Thanks for downloading!

Stijn
Unfortunatly only Android is supported thus far, and if people like it enough I may dive into the realm of iOS. (takes quite some time)Blackberry is unfortunatly not on the list at the moment, to be honnest I didn't even know people used it to play games :) Sorry! King Tyrion I
I'll be getting a new mobile soon. I just bought it, it only needs to get shipped to my place. Perhaps the BlackBerry Z10 is able to handle that game now. I sincerely hope so.
