She gave a small religious group some military power I guess, but not anything like the military of the actual king who has an army. It doesn't make sense to me that: 1. Cersie had the authority and power to grant a small religious group more military power than the king.2. That the religious group had enough power to keep and hold the queens mother or anyone linked to the throne.3. That the king or anyone else didn't just send 100+ troops to slaughter all of the religious militant.4. That they even threatened to put the QUEEN on trial!
