The North Storyline in S6

We know that Theon told Sansa in the show that her brothers are actually alive. We know that Theon and Sansa's most likely destination is the Wall.

1. Theon and Sansa arrive at the Wall and meet Davos shortly afterward, Sansa trusts him and sends him to the Umbers to look for them (we know Smalljon was cast).

2. Davos essentially has all the Wyman Manderly stuff with Smalljon Umber instead, he's told Rickon and Osha were sent to Skagos because the North wasn't safe for them with the Boltons in charge and he sails to Skagos to search for them.

3. Winterfell is taken over by Littlefinger and the Vale.
4. Theon, Sansa and Melisandre escape with Jon's body to take it back to Winterfell.
5. Theon is sacrificed (almost out of mercy) and Jon is reborn.

The show essentially switches around what will likely happen in the books. In the books, it seems likely that Theon will be sacrificed by Stannis in a move that does little to help them in The Battle for Winterfell. Then Shireen will be sacrificed by Melisandre to successfully raise Jon back.

The show essentially switched the two sacrifices to create a little bit more drama by having the sacrifices mean a little more to the people they're affecting.

Does this make sense? Obviously this isn't the whole storyline and hopefully A LOT more will happen but as a rough outline for a few events, how does it sound to you?

Sanse will use her magical abilities to build an ice castle while singing "Let it go".

Seriously though, I also think, they will go to the wall. I don't think the sacrificing will play out this way. But I also don't have a better idea. If they sacrifice theon, D&D won't make it about mercy but Theon's redemption (Theon sacrifices himself to revive a Stark/Snow)

I also don't know why Davos should do anything now Stannis is (probably) dead. Forging an alliance with northern Lords seems rather pointless at this point.

Watchers on the Wall have confirmed that
Theon will be going back to the Iron Island's.http://watchersonthewall.com/new-images-of-game-of-thrones-filming-in-northern-ireland-plus-huge-spoilers-for-season-6/
But there is no mention of Sansa being there, so I think Sansa will remain in the North.

I think Theon may tell her not to go to the wall because he knows how Ramsey thinks better than anyone, so she decides to maybe try the Last Hearth or the Umbers pick her up enroute.

No, they aren't telling you that.

No. Stannis' troops are north of Winterfell, which with the oversized pieces and imprecise placing makes them look near Last Hearth. Stannis had no interaction with the Umbers.

Stannis and his forces were not near or admitted entry into any Norther Stronghold. Stannis was rejected by all of them when he sent out letters. Most notably by Lyanna Mormont of Bear Island.

I saw where the actors playing Jon Snow, Ramsay and Sam were out and seen at a bar or something and I got a sick feeling, unfounded ofcourse that Ramsay, if cornered, would take the cowardice way and take the black, setting him up to be the 1000th Lord Commander, after Allister Thorne will undoubtably be the 999th. I could see Ramsay being the last one when the wall comes down at the end of season 6. No proof to it but it was a hunch.

Stannis troops were* north of winterfell..

Personally i think Brienne will find Sansa, of course Sansa will be bitter about Brienne failing to keep her promise but she can make use of her.. So she ask her to escort her to the wall to her half brother Jon.. When she eventually reach the wall she realize what happened, a mutini, the NW in ruins castle black basically in ruins, a few wildings and blackbrothers remain, mostly wounded, tormund leads the wilding and helps keep the order in CB along with Edd, the conspirators are either death or imprisioned, Jon, Mel and Davos nowhere to be found, Brienne, Pod, Sansa and theon realize that CB is not safe so they decide to go to last heart, and as you said, sends not Davos, but brienne to look for Rickon in Skagos, testing her loyalty a la Manderly..

I think davos will play a part in the Hiding of Jon's body, i have stated this before in other thread, i think Mel is at the LC quarters, its the safest place there is for her.. Ghost ( an notable absence in the last episode) will probably go apeshit feeling something bad happened to Jon, Mel will notice this and let him out, then follow him to where Jon's corpse is, she obviously cant smuggle Jon's body, starting by the fact that she cant possibly lift him and move him fast enough no go unnoticed, not alone.. And this is where i think davos will come in scene, he is the best smuggler that Westeros have ever seen, managing to infiltrate stormend not only once but twice.. Mel will ask for his assistance, and despise the obvious ill feeling between the two, he will help, because Stannis his king believed in this boy, and trusted him... So he will help Mel smuggle Jon's corpse, where?, well i know we have not gotten any exposition to the Ice cells ( cells made beneath the wall, basically freezers) but its not farfetched Edd knows about them, so with Edd's info about the ice cells they take jon there, and Mel gives him the kiss, only for him to return in a comatose state (like bran) which is convenient, since we have confirmation about certain Flashbacks involving important events during Robert's Rebellion, and Bran is returning this Season, after spending S5 in the shadows training.. After Jon's past is revealed to him, he will wake up perhaps midseason.

Bran storyline seems to be more about getting intel at least for now, im really looking forward to see how his plot develops

I could see Sansa and Theon escaping Winterfell with some party searching for them. Brienne and Podrick meanwhile carry Stannis, who is amputated in one leg. Yes,Stannis is alive, and let me explain why.

Remember, Sansa does not trust Brienne and already rejected her at that tavern with Littlefinger. She did not believe the story of Renly being assassinated by Stannis' shadow and does not trust Who better to confirm Brienne's claims than the Mannis himself? Brienne cut his leg off, because he would die otherwise and he won't be able to escape from her. There was too much emphasis on that leg, Stannis reminding Brienne of duty and off-screen execution.

Brienne and Pod will kill off pursuing Bolton party and save Sansa. She will also make Stannis confirm Brienne's story, earning Sansa's trust this time. They will go probably to Last Hearth to get Umber support.

The next season will be the downfall of House Bolton. In order for that to happen, Sansa will need to rally northern lords to her cause. She will probably find Rickon because he is with Umbers and Smalljon was cast.

She will send Theon to Iron Islands, because they will hear of Balon's death, and since Theon is changed man and wants to redeem himself,he will definitely help her and Starks if he commanded ironborn. However, his storyline gets complicated with Euron arriving at Kingsmoot.

She will also need Stannis as the commander of her troops. This time, in round 2 against Boltons, "flayed men banners will burn". Stannis will kick Roose and Ramsay's ass very bad.

All in all, this will be a badass season for Sansa, because she will kick Boltons out of Winterfell and end them.

After retaking Winterfell, I can see Sansa allying with Littlefinger and Vale armies to back Stannis for the Iron Throne, and take Cersei out of King's Landing. But that storyline will go to season 7. It will be poetic since in Robert's Rebellion we had Stark,Arryn and Baratheon allying to take down the crown. The same will be here.

Davos will be involved in wildlings and Night's Watch struggle I expect or even with Melisandre's attempts to resurect Jon. I doubt that when he hears what Stannis has done to Shireen he will have any desire to come back to the Mannis after he is revealed to be alive.
