How is TWOW going?

Does Martin posts often about his progress in writing the book? Because he should. Also, my friend said that a Polish editor published he has already received TWOW for translation. Did you also heard about this?

Nope.  GRRM has said numerous times he will not give updates on his progress, since it has caused a lot of negativity in past when he doesn't meet his goals.

It makes me sad.  The silence is deafening.   Especially when there's so much news coming out about the show.

GRRM repeatedly stated that he will post on his blog/page as soon as the book is done; and not to trust any other sources (besides himself) who claim that the book is finished.

Best you can do is to follow his blog (Not a Blog) and/or check this thread: http://asoiaf.westeros.org/index.php/topic/53288-the-winds-of-winter-the-latest-info-updated-4-april-2015/

A spanish publisher said that it would be out in 2016, then some other dude said to be cautiously optimistic for a 2016 release. I don't think there's no chance to release before season 6. I am optimistic and I believe in grrm. TWOW will be out soontm.

No idea, clearly not great seeing as it's taken over 4 years to write and we don't even have tentative date yet.

I am from Poland. In our country we usually get translated book year after english release  :bang:

Maybe we have bad translator but i don't think it's true that polish editor already get TWOW.

That's nothing.  I put out my first book in 2006.  The second in the trilogy still isn't finished.
