The new one was good, just not laugh out loud funny. At one point he managed to get his hands on this old Jerry Lewis script for this legendary movie he shot called The Day the Clown Cried. The premise of the film is this old washed up German circus clown is used by the nazis at Auschwitz to lead children into the gas chamber. So Oswalt puts this amazing cast together to do live readings of the script. Bob Odenkirk, David Cross, Jay Johnston, Paul F. Tompkins, Laura Milligan, and Dave Foley were all set to do it. The morning of the day the reading is to take place, he gets hit with a Cease and Desist order from some schlep who bought the rights to film this fucking dog.
