Silvershank
Which mythical creatures do you think we will see in the books? There have been talks of centaurs and unicorns. It's definitely possible, i mean there are dragons, The Others and wights. And which mythical creature would you like to see in the books?

Lord Ravenstark
To match the Celtic feel of Westeros (Westeros have a British/Celtic feel) the Morrigan. It would fit as a custom made glove.
Duckfield
I really don't think we'll get to see a kraken. Those hints are just GRRM's sick way of giving us blue balls. Ice spiders are likely, because it's very much expected that we'll get to see much more of the Others in the next book. Ice Dragons...? I'll pass. Thanks. It would fit as a custom made glove. She (or they, depending which version you believe), would have fit in nicely with the lore/religion of Westeros, but sadly, this aspect of Westeros is already fleshed out. The Morrigan is more of a War Goddess then a physical earthly creature.

aryagonnakill#2
Ice Spiders, goat unicorns which are not mythical but exist in our own world as well, and Krakens. I doubt the Deep ones/Merlings/Squishers are still alive. I'll admit I was wrong if I am, but I really really really don't think there are ice dragons in this world. Curled Finger
Isn't it Kevan or Qyburn who actually reports kracken sightings? Bring that bad boy right to Poppa. I do sort of hope for an Ice Dragon, and more Fire Dragons, too. I'm really interested to find out what Grendle's Children turn out to be. . Kaibaman
I would say mermaids. They do come up a lot either from Iron Born theology or Patchface's ramblings or even Elenei who later marries Durran Godsgrief.
