Good Queen Alysanne. If Roose Bolton is still upset, after all these years that she ensured that the First Night would be abolished, then she is worth of admiration. She is a rare example of a wife who also offered useful advice to her husband. But the reason why I love her, is her insistence that Rhaenys should have been a queen. Rhaenys Targaryen, any woman who is referred to as the Queen who never was, deserves respect, especially once one considers the chaos that followed once benevolent but weak Viserys died. She was a warrior, a politician and died while riding her dragon against the enemies of her House. Once she realised that Criston Cole had trapped her and forced her to confront Aegon and Aemon, instead of flying away, she went after them. Baelor Breakspear, because I consider him the greatest Targaryen he ever lived despite the fact that he probably "smelled dornish" according to one of his descendants. Because he was everything his namesake was not. Because he earned his nickname when he defeated Daemon Blackfyre at a tourney. Because he chose peace over war in the matter of Blackfyres but he was not heard. Because he lead his army to victory, in a glorious battle later known as The hammer and the anvil. Because he was highly competent as Hand. Because, he who was descended from two of the most illustrious Houses of Westeros, allowed to a hedge knight to participate to a tourney. Because when the aforementioned hedge knight protected an innocent girl from Aerion's brutal behavior, Baelor not only disapprooved of what his nephew did but also stood up for the hedge knight. He was legitimized, thus no longer a bastard. All of Aegon IV's noble-born bastards were legitimized, so there should be a lot of them.
