Ran Posted March 25, 2016 Share Posted March 25, 2016 For those wondering about the new 'Chat' appearing at the bottom right of the forum, we have implemented GOSU Chat. This is still in beta I believe, so there may be some rough bits here and here, but the developers behind it are hard at work polishing everything, and we have to say so far we're impressed. It's a cross-platform system that doesn't need any downloads, although there are clients for Android and iOS already available. We're just feeling our way through it and how it works. One thing we've done is made it so users must sign up for an account with GOSU to be able to post here. This also means we'll have some ability to ban or block people who are abusive. We'll also be able to give people the power to act as moderators or administrators, though that's something we'll sort out over time as we see how well people take to it. Ran Posted March 25, 2016 Author Share Posted March 25, 2016 @Neolaina has provided a nice simple guide to some basics, which I'm reposting (with some additions) here: Newcomers: Check the e-mail you associated with your account (if you see nothing, make sure to check Spam/Junk folders as well). You can add a password as well as confirm your account, allowing you to access your profile, and change your avatar.
