Valens
I think I'd choose Karhold. Because it is not as huge as Winterfell but still a strong and safe castle. Plus, it hasn't been burned. It just sounds like a cozy place, hehe. It is also close to the sea, while Winterfell isn't.

Jam On Toast
Why would anyone pick anywhere other than the Water Gardens of Dorne. Admittedly though this comes from someone who lives in a place which is wet and miserable for most of the year.
Valens
Both those sound nice, but I'd get bored eventually of all the sun, lol. Nah, joking. I think Dorne would just be a little too hot for my liking, I'd rather choose Highgarden and The Reach.
TheDrunkenDornishman
Casterly Rock. I'd be rich as a god, with a damn near impenetrable fortress to boot, what's not to like?
Seaworth'sShipmate
HighGarden! The view and accomodations are superb :)!
Jon leaves the Watch
I would either say, Brightwater Keep or Riverrun. Brightwater Keep is Larger enough to be a strong and safe place to live. Plus, not far from Oldtown. Riverrun just due to its central location and it is very well defended by its location.
dreem24
Moat Cailin but not the ruin the fully restored place that looks something like this: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-_QSeDWBh6Q4/VBap16eiecI/AAAAAAAAC-g/_pd-Lq6Hz1Q/s1600/Moat%2BCailin%2B2.jpg Only everything is restored 100%/new and fully crewed
Brother of edd tollett
White harbor seems thriving and quite distanced from the war territory and has easy links to places like Braavos or pentos.
dsug
Casterly Rock, Red Keep, or Winterfell.
Sullen
If we ignore the political implications that come with it, Riverrun seems quite cozy. Not too warm, not too cold, not too poor, not too luxurious. Lots of rains as well, I like the rain.
Forlong the Fat
No love for the Eyrie? Quiet, beautiful views, wonderfully protected.
the_red_wolf
I would love to live in the Eyrie. I don't care for unexpected company, and the Eyrie is well out of the way, on top of a mountain and hard to get to. That means no unexpected company just showing up! Nymeria's pack
Winterfell (before burning). Love the idea of a centrally heated castle.
LokisRaider
I would take Winterfell. I like the cold, and its not like it is so far North that it is always cold. And you always have the hot springs to warm you up.

Yep, it sounds like a nice place. Like the riviera city of the North, hehe! Somewhere where the Northmen go for vacation.
