JonCon's Red Beard Posted April 23, 2016 Share Posted April 23, 2016 I agree with the "happy accident" theory but I think that Steffron and Aerys were in good terms and were close when they were younger, so it's likely that after Robert and Stannis were born (when Aerys was around 20), Dad-aratheon was more with the King than with his wife.
