Roman Glebov
Just wanted to share my thoughts about the scene with Dany and Khal Moro https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Edumk2Y9YI4&feature=youtu.be&t=164 It reminded me of Cohen the Barbarian in Pratchett's "The Light Fantastic" explaining what the greatest things in life are, together with the famous Monty Python scene from "Life of Brian":
Durran Durrandon
I giggled through this whole scene. It's funny. I didn't connect it with Monty Python, even though The Life of Bryan is my favorite Python film, and I don't know that Pratchett piece. However, even without those connection, it immediately hit me that they were doing a Conan parody I watched that movie five million times when I was a kid. Fredwin
I was upset I didn't see a word that translated to lamentations. What was the point if you don't go the extra step??
Arya_Stormborn
My husband pointed out the Life of Brian comparison to me as we were watching. I think it's great! Very fitting.

Myrddin
I immediately quoted Conan to my wife during this scene.
Jehane
Thought of Conan as well and had to laugh throughout the scene even though Dany was being threatened... but it was just too funny - not only the conversation but also the looks the Khal was giving his Bloodriders. He looked pretty annoyed that they were talking back at him xD
Clash
Very 'Life of Brian'. "What have the Romans ever done for us?" sequence. Khal Moro playing the John Cleese part and getting more exasperated with each interruption. Somebody above mentioned the Spanish Inquisition sketch and in some ways this one is closer to that, but it doesn't really matter since it's the same writers that did both. Nice bit of comic relief and homage to Monty Python.
