Don't feel bad, when I broke my leg it was falling on some stairs so equally clumsy!!. My rib is finally starting to heal well, it's not so painful as it was at first now, oddly its my sprained wrist(did both at the same time-motorcycle accident) which is taking longer to feel 100% again, even though I didn't break it. If worldcon ends up in San Jose that would be an easy trip for me. But I can't see how that locale would beat out N.O. Maybe one year I will meet y'all. Everything is groovy here in the Olenna house. Fighting a cold (aren't summer colds the worst?) and struggling daily with my neighbors that decided to get a puppy and then immediately tie it up to the bars on their window. Poor thing barks all day and has only one of those travel kennels to call shelter. Did I mention it was 100F on Sunday? Yah. I guess it's not considered neglect or abuse by animal control standards but it's pretty deplorable to me. It rips my heart apart every single day. Also, Lil O is doing fantastically. Can't wait to enjoy the summer and go on adventures with my lil buddy. The last bookstore in LA is having a Harry Potter night on Saturday and I think we will definitely be going to that. And this week starts the movies on the beach and in the parks! It's so fun to have a big screen on the beach - and they will be playing The Goonies and The princess bride Ok.
