Ok, question about Edric Dayne. He is the squire of Ser Berric. Presumably he has brought his body back to his ancestral home after Thoros resurrected Cat (soon to be lady facepalm if she ever realizes that Jon isn't Ned's bastard and has the "wow i was kind of a bitch" moment). 

If my timeline is right, he is born (and named) after Ned brings dawn back to Ashara. 

Why would the Lord of Starfall, the brother of Arthur Dayne, name his son Edric and call him Ned after Ned Stark killed (even if in honorable battle) Ser Arthur. I mean, of all the names, even if he was already kind of set on it, you would think that Edric would be pretty low on the list and that calling him ned for short would be totally out.
