There is always a force that shows up *just at the last moment* to save the day for the good guys. Just once, I'd love to see the good guys get slaughtered and no such calvery shows up. Jcat Posted June 24, 2016 Share Posted June 24, 2016 Yeah right...we could do with a Crecy, Agincourt or Courtrai in the series. However, the medieval military aspects of the show are kind of uneven, despite the hysterical fan adulation. On the other hand, there was no cavalry rescue for Stannis, or Jon Snow and company at Hardhome, and up to the return of Daenerys and Drogon to Meereen, most of the war action in Essos has been mostly special ops type stuff.
