And the telegraphing. They say they are going to do something. They do it. That's not the way other shows do it. Where did they get this idea, to have characters say what's going to happen so clearly. Maybe it helps them keep the plot straight.

They have to be reading scripts that we do not see and filming scenes that we do not view to believe bullshit like that, Carol is a monster and only a sadist could sympathise with her! She performs whatever heinous act she desires because it "feels good" the bloody psychopath she is!

Outside the episodes are where the real story takes place... They should add themselves as characters, like a greek chorus, to save us all the trouble.

Some of the scenes involving Ramsay and Theon struck me as a bit cartoonish.

The scene involving Cersei and Unella really made by skin crawl.  If that was the intention of the Show's producers, then well done.  There's nothing amusing about prolonged torture and probable rape.

But, I have the nagging feeling that the producers wanted, and expected, viewers to identify with Cersei at this point, and to be titillated at the thought of what was going to happen to her prisoner. And Lena's interview rather strengthens that suspicion in my view.  All of Cersei's horribly suggestive touching gives a clear indication to me of where this scene was going.  And, I wonder, if at the last  moment, they thought they couldn't quite get away with showing Cersei sexually abusing a prisoner.

"Best Ship" was a hard one.  I was torn between Daenerys/Yara or Yara/sex slave, but in the end, I opted for the latter.
