[Spoilers] Rant & Rave without Repercussions - First We Take King's Landing Edition

Obvious what's going to happen. Either Euron captures Daenerys and marries her, or he'll marry Cersei. In any event, Daenerys will get the Iron Throne. Cersei's screwed, at least 5 of the 7 kingdoms are against her. Jon and the North will fight the White Walkers alone initially. Melisandre will find her way to Daenerys and tell her about the White Walkers. The Hound will out Baelish's treason to Sansa.

For quite some time. Typical Sheryl. This show really made great use of the 69 minutes.

Remember when Qyburn took Varys's lines, implying that Sheryl was "new blood" or something?

And on that fateful day, Carol morphed into Sheryl, her evil counterpart who enjoyed cosplaying as maleficent.

I love the new succession laws; "kill people and you're in!" Worked great in Porne.

Chebs, I knew we could count on you. Sheryl !

cersei looks like the queen from snow white

anyway

so we have a greyjoy/Reach/Dorne alliance with the targaryens(very, very, VERY hard to happen in the books, the iron born are raiding the reach bd victarion is already in mereen, not likely that they ally with dany

the vale are with the north

this leaves the crownloads, the westerlands and a still uncertain storm lands pretty weak
cersei does not stand a single chance.

and after news of quentyn reach dorne, they will most likely ally with fAegon

i think the greyjoy/targ alliance will happen, under victarion/euron, and this will make westeros sees dany even more of a barbarian invader

they are giving faegon plot to dany

I think Jon does become KITN in the books because of Robb's Will. The show decided to skip Robb's Will, and just make Jon KITN anyway, ignoring the fact without the will it doesn't make sense.

Yep. Sansa is not supposed to be there, and she's not going to be queen in the books, either. This was their way of doing the Robb's will plot. And it actually redeems her, that she doesn't want this.

I still can not understand how Snow > Stark in any way, shape or form.  No matter how hard you try, there is no excuse for naming Jon KitN.  They didn't even ask her.  It's so weird.

She married a Bolton and before that a Lannister. The will of the Northern Lords just legitimized him and frankly, he can hold it until and if Bran arrives. Better for Sansa that she is not KITN, if anything, just to see her happy about it, genuinely and also to see the look for shock and disgust on that slimeball, LF.

Remember though they explained away her Lannister marriage when it was convenient in order for her to marry Ramsay.  I don't think they would have any trouble setting aside another forced marriage for the only legitimate child of Ned Stark known to be alive.  There's no good excuses.  They read the script, that's it.

Yeah, after all the shit that they have done with her. Tonight I feel better about her show character. However, fear for her I do. She is now a major liability to LF and she rejected him which really burns. He is a vengefull little shit. I was screaming: "have you spoken to Lord Royce yet? Hell, if she told her story there and then, LF would be dragged and sacrificed to the Heart Tree for it.

They are saving him for Sandor to kill, I bet. Not going to be sorry to see that. She will help him do it.

In the books, he has these two pitted against each other, through Sansa's eyes. Sandor is the anti-LF.

Then with LF there in the room, that would have been the end of him so there is more to come with Sansa, Baelish next season. This is not Sansa's true story anyway. She is not supposed to be there.

That is where my bet is. I have only one fear that LF will maybe do something to her first. If Sansa is really, really smart, she needs to find the quickest way to killing him off before he kills her.

This.Show. I swear. How can I even start?

For the 2nd time, Lena Headey actually played book!Cersei. She does a good job, but it comes out of nowhere. She's never been that murderous on the show. Is she going to do Dorne next? She did promise to burn their city to the ground.

Do you guys think Qyburn paid those creepy murderous children with candy?

During Loras' confession when he talked about now getting married or having children, I thought they would use this line  "When the sun has set, no candle can replace it" Silly me, it almost makes sense in that context.

Now that Loras and Marg are dead, I wonder if Finn Jones and Natalie Dormer will have any interesting interviews. Both have been critical of the show.

Walder Frey acting like The Lannisters send their regards is some kind of well known phrase? Like what? Roose only said that because Jamie asked him to. Freaking stupid. Silly Arya, she never learned to say M'Lord. tsk tsk. WHY THE HELL DID THEY JUST THROW IN FREY PIES?! THAT DOES NOT MAKE BOOK FANS HAPPY. ok I'm good.

The citadel doesn't know about the Old Bear, but Olenna knows about Mace, Marg and Loras. ok. What's a timeline?

The most shocking thing about this season is Obara got asked her name and didn't go through the whole spiel.

VARYS GOT THE FIRE AND BLOOD LINE ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!!!!?

Why didn't Jon and Sansa talk about Rickon? Their sibling was just murdered? Do neither of them care?

I can't even get into how screwed Sansa was. She's next in line. That's absolutely no reason her bastard ~brother would become King of the North. The show just affirmed all of Cat's fears of him.

It would have made more sense if someone had Robb's will, even though this is also out of nowhere, it would at least legally justify it. There is no way they take a Snow, another bastard, over a true born child of Eddard Stark. This was just a scene that the writers, again, didn't think through logically.

Also we have all this talk of the Stark's taking back their home, and they even call Jon "The White Wolf", but Ghost is still nowhere to be seen. He is the literal representation of the Stark house. Fuck your dragons, give us wolves.

I hate how Jon is OK with Sansa getting hundreds of his loyal men killed. He's just like, "It's alright kid. Just do better next time". She is basically a traitor for keeping secrets for the war council that could have changed the battle before everyone died.

Were getting to a point where things happen only to get to the next scene. The show doesn't care about character development like it did in the first three season. It just wants to try and shock you. It doesn't matter how shocked I am. If it doesn't develop the story and characters in a sensible and meaningful way, then why do it?

Well, this is the show, so sense is not always involved but Bran is the real King and he is probably going to come back next season.
