stop Jois
I haven't gotten around to picking up World of Ice and Fire yet, but I would love to read it. In your opinion, would I be missing anything by getting the ebook rather than a hard copy?
Lord Corlys Velaryon
Mayhaps a physical copy of the gorgeousĀ art, though I have heard you can zoom in on such, & I've seen lots of it on the net besides.
The Fattest Leech
I have the hard copy and the Audible version that I listen to a LOT. Lord Corlys just above mentioned the gorgeous artwork. YES to that. Not just because it is beautiful, but because GRRM worked closely with the artists and selections to get it the way it should look. The page quality feels nice to the touch because of the quality paper. I like the fact that I can sit and browse the index better with the print copy and fins info I never thought to look up before. stop Jois
I had intended to read it cover to cover. I don't really want to buy both versions, so I am still kind of up in the air. The only physical ASOIAF thing that I own is the set of maps, so I am more used to ebooks, but I wonder if this one is different.
Lady Lark of the NorthWood
Right now, I just have the ebook. I spend a lot of time in the summer at my youngest daughter's, visiting with my grandkids. It's easier to take books on my tablet, than it is to take hard copies. I'm also reading it straight through. I do plan on buying the hard copy later on.
