He might be low qual kingsguard, but he is still kingsguard and Lancel was never known as a great fighter. If we assume them at their worst - Boros should take it too but it will be much much closer. He is fat and in no good shape, but should have enough instinct and experience to crush the pitiful rest of a man that is Lancel. He may have been unremarkable but I don't think he was a bad fighter (at his best). But I think Lancel is a bit braver. It does take some nerve to get a king killed and inform on Cersei.
