Noelle Snow
They've kept the title Prince/Princess and Dorne is pretty autonomous despite being technically under control of the IT. So they are not actually rulers in their own right but they're not "lords" either. But we've never seen the term "your highness" etc. and "Your Grace" is only used for kings/queens associated with the IT. So how are they addressed? I can't recall off the top of my head how it is in the books. I think Areo always calls them "my prince", etc? Is that how it goes? Or are they actually called "my lady" or "my lord" despite the actual title?
Philokles
Yes, it is my prince. A few examples from other people than Areo... Ellaria: "My prince is playing with you, Lady Sansa," said the woman Ellaria Sand. (Sansa IV - ASOS) Maester Caleotte: Maester Caleotte remained behind. "My prince?" the little round man asked. "Do your legs hurt?" Nymeria: "No more should you doubt this, my prince—my sisters and I shall not wait ten-and-seven years for our vengeance." She put her spurs into the mare and she was off, galloping toward Sunspear with her tail in hot pursuit. (Both The Captain of the Guards - AFFC) Arys: "She has, my prince," he'd answered, and prayed that no blush would dare betray him. (The Soiled Knight - AFFC) The was only one example I could find of 'my lord', from Balon Swann: Quote "Ser Balon, I have read the letter that you brought me from our gracious queen. Might I assume that you are familiar with its contents, ser?" Hotah saw the knight tense. "I am, my lord. Her Grace informed me that I might be called upon to escort her daughter back to King's Landing. King Tommen has been pining for his sister and would like Princess Myrcella to return to court for a short visit." The Watcher - ADWD

Lord Asher Forrester
You already had a preety good answer but to add i don't recall anyone at all calling Doran, Oberyn or Arianne anything but prince or princess, never seen they being adressed to as lady or lord, not even by Joffrey, Cersei or the Tyrell. Well maybe some Tyrell flowered man tried to say that, but he most surely ended with a spear on it's belly!
Noelle Snow
It just sounds weird rolling off the tongue but may just because I'm not used to it. Like before they married into Westeros were they always called "my prince" or was it an actual "your grace" or "your highness"?
