If your drop week was one of the weeks before the byes, the game total dropped is 16, whereas on the bye weeks it's 15 or even 14, methinks. Makes sense. Thanks man this was puzzling me and I was drawing a complete blank on it.

Manhole Eunuchsbane
So that was Week 7, with probably the first tie I can remember since we've started this. Mr. Chatywin et al.
Woot! ETA: Funny, I made all my picks at like 3 A.M. Sunday morning after getting home from a huge party. The only one I changed later that day was switching Seattle over Arizona.
mcbigski
In the interests of Science, why don't you party until 3:30 this week before making your picks?
Manhole Eunuchsbane
Collected that sweet confidence point from Tennessee. Maybe it's gonna be a good week.

mcbigski
I was having an amazing week until Monday night. I am getting so fucking sick of Jordan Howard. I'm in four leagues, and I feel like he's been the difference in five of my fantasy losses this year. (Twice in the league with three games a week.) It's probably not that bad, but if he's in a lineup against me, he goes off. And if not, give the man 3 FP. Lost a matchup last night against him by about 8 points since it's a league with no free agency on Sunday (WTF!) and the only option to fill Ty Montgomery's slot in my line up once he was declared out was by trade, which didn't get done in time. Still, getting my mojo back for pickem.
Manhole Eunuchsbane
Yeah, Seattle, Minnesota and that tie killed me. Rough week.

Manhole Eunuchsbane
So, that was Week 8. This was a drop week for all but 4 teams. White Harbor Bakers take the week with 65 pts and an 8-4-1 mark. Bronze Stones gets the 2nd spot with 64 pts and a 9-3-1 record, and Sunspear Sharifs is 3rd with 61 pts and a 9-3-1 total. Leaderboard looks a little something like this... 1 JJ Lannister 561 44 63-43 2 White Harbor Bakers 555 63 62-42 3 Bronze Stones 555 50 61-43 4 Tywin 554 54 64-42 5 Ramsay B 537 30 59-43 6 Lumpy the Greek 535 51 62-44 7 dbunting 527 57 55-51 8 Joe Pesci 526 61 60-46 9 Highgarden Hungry Hippos 512 53 58-48 10 Chicken Parm You Taste So Good 504 50 57-49 11 Black Water Rush 502 55 59-47 12 Sunspear Shariffs 469 56 55-

Yeah, I had a pretty solid mark of 9-3-1, but I put way too many points on both the Seachickens and your Vikes. It's all about the confidence points at the end of the day. Bronn Stone
The tie counting as a loss for everyone is not one of the more endearing features of this game.

True, but I'm not sure how to amend that. Confidence points really come into play there.
mcbigski
I suppose you could give half points to everyone for the tie games, but the odds of having another tied game before 2018 are probably less than 50%. And that would be a super PITA to administer.
