All the Birds in the Sky is currently the front-runner in the reading list the SFWA keeps for Nebula recommendations. The Obelisk Gate is the sequel to this year's Hugo winner. The Age of Myth is a prequel to the Riyria books, and though not big-award worthy, is an enjoyable book. The Paper Menagerie is a book of short stories by Ken Liu, who wrote the impressive book The Grace of Kings. I haven't read it yet, but I've heard good things. Gentleman Jole and the Red Queen is by multi-Hugo winner LMB. Death's End is the third book in the trilogy that started with the Hugo-winning The Three-Body Problem. And so on.
