brunhilda
The Edgedancer novella which made it worth purchasing Arcanum Unbounded. A total delight. The Call by our own Peadar Guilin. Unexpected and scary. Touch by Claire North. Surprisingly involving page-turner. His Majesty's Dragon by Naomi Novik. Wasn't expecting such a fun read. Anatomical Shape of a Heart by Jean Bennet. Not my normal read. A high quality YA reality-based fiction. Earth Girl by Janet Edwards. Pure fun Mary Sue wish fulfillment. Titans by Victoria Scott. YA, fun, light. The Spider's War by Daniel Abraham. He made me wait for this but it was worth it. Great wrap up to a great series. Badlands by CJ Box. I'm liking this new series a lot more than his Joe Picket one. I'm assuming we don't include re-reads. (Kingkiller and Stormlight played big in the best of the year. Again.)

Contrarius+
I read about 70 books in 2016. Rated a lot at 4 stars, but only one got 5 stars. The Library at Mount Char, people! It's criminal that the book hasn't gotten more widespread appreciation. Sigh. Philistines, I tells ya.

Thanks for the rec. This also was the impetus to finally get set up to borrow ebooks from my library. Another life skill mastered.
