Bran will be responsible for the 2nd Long Night...

I think its pretty obvious with Bran being touched by the Night's King that the WW's will now be able to cross over the wall. Bloodraven having told Bran that the Night's King will now be able to follow you anywhere because he has been touched by the Night's King. It's only a matter of time before the second Long Night begins.

Thanks for your in-depth response.

The others were already gathering their forces long before the night king touched bran. The wildlings were already fleeing the North because of this. Prophecies were already predicted the second coming of the long night. If all this could have been prevented by simply not having the Night King touch Bran, then why would the bloodraven have summoned Bran in the first place? By simply not doing so, the whole mess could have been prevented.

On the show, the Nights King touching him allowed entry into Blood Raven's cave and there is a mark on Bran that may stay, grow or whatever. I would think that Bran, if he fears the mark, would be hesitant to cross the wall or atleast cross his mind. If that is the reason in fact that the Night's King and the army of the dead can and will cross the wall and or destroy it, then yes, Bran should be thinking about that. However, his knowledge is important but the way to defeat the Night's King and undead is known to Jon and his followers. The best thing Bran could do to survive is not cross the wall but have Meera go to Ed at Castle Black and have horsemen come to Bran, transport him along the North of the wall to a boat that can be sent and have it taken across the Narrow Sea to Braavos or Essos in general or something like that. Just a thought.

It's not the reason. The Wall is a physical barrier as well as a magical one. Had being branded by the NK alone allowed him access to South of the Wall, don't you think the 3ER would have said something? Or Benjen?
