One-eyed Misbehavin
If you could pick any of the VS swords (of all-time even if lost) to use which one would you go with? I think I'd take Dark Sister bc I'm not particularly strong or big but pretty quick and 3 of my favorite characters in the history of the books used it. zandru
I'd take Ice, before Tywin Lannister laid his bloody, despoiling hands on it. Then he couldn't.
Ser Creep
I'd take the Valyrian Steel axe that House Celtigar reputedly own. I find axes cooler than swords.
Lion of the West
Brightroar for me, if only to return it to its place of honor with House Lannister.
Ser Snowflake
I would rather have Dawn over any VS sword.....but when it comes to dragonsteel, I would take Vigilance. House Hightower is one of my favorite houses.
The Hoare
Ice. VS is lighter than normal steel and the lenght of Ice makes it good in one-by-one combat
Lord Vance II
Widow's Wail (dope name) or Blackfyre (sword of the king, kind of).
The Fresh PtwP
Does Just Maid count? Just Maid sounds kind of OP. Best believe I would take Nimble Dick's advice and actually use the sword too. Widow's Wail if the Maid doesn't count. If I was Joff I would've rewarded the dude who shouted that name, give that man a gold dragon!
Curled Finger
Decisions decisions...should I choose Dark Sister because of its extreme excellence and history? Blackfyre to rouse the rebels? Orphan-Maker of the black blade? Ah geez I'm going with Truth so I could finally know something useful about it!
Winds of Winter blow cold
How about the dagger they were going to kill Bran with?
Raisin' Bran
Longclaw. Seen plenty of action in recent Westerosi history. The name alludes to swords as well as typical animal claws. Summer refers to swords as "manclaws" in a few instances.
Tom Cruise
Also have to go with Long Claw... I believe it's the oldest Valyrian sword that we know of, and there's a certain amount of street cred that goes along with that. Not to get too off topic, but I'm thinking Lord Cregan got Longclaw from the Ironborn and gave it to the Mormont's. I think there's a possibility it dates back to the Age of Hero's. Either brought to Westeros by the early adventurers from Essos, or smithed in Westeros by the Grey King. Silly me... King Cregan
Cridefea
Not sure if Darksister (for the history), Oathkeeper (for the potential and I also love the color ) or Just Maid (ok, it is from a legend but... wow! btw are there any good thread about it?) The Hammer of Justice
Oathkeeper because of the awesome name or Lamentation (sword of House Royce)
King in t'North
Longclaw. I'm tall and big enough to be able to use a bastard sword one-handed, so fighting with that in one hand and a shield in the other would be difficult to deal with. Also, should the shield not be available, I could swing the sword two-handed. I'm hoping someone in the series captures both Oathkeeper and Widow's Wail and resmelts them back into Ice Reforged and presents it back to the Stark family, once every Lannister bar Tyrion is fertiliser. Lady Blizzardborn
Truth. The sword of House Rogare. I have this cute little head-canon that this sword is what Quaithe was talking about when Dany asked what she would find in Asshai that she wouldn't find in Qarth. In reality, I probably couldn't even lift one of these. I'd need a VS sword like Needle to be able to fight.

White Ravens
I'll go with Red Rain, not because I identify with House Drumm in any way, but because it is the title of a Peter Gabriel song that I've always liked. Come to think of it, the song was released in '86 so I wouldn't be surprised if GRRM is referencing it in some way.
