Why Tomb Raider Is Better Than Uncharted

I know that there are many comparisons between Tomb Raider (reboot and beyond) with the Uncharted series.

But I feel like I need to say something overlooked and that is the same thing only the Tomb Raider series have.

And that would be Base Camps. To me, these camps make the TR series better than Uncharted. The camps set the correct mood in almost every situations and events throughout the game. Furthermore, having worked so much with this character, we got to watch her possessions and skills increase like a proud teacher/parent would to his student/their child. Nathan Drake just falls flat emotionally without back stories (which Lara also has).
