The best thing you can do is talk to her. Maybe she feels the same way, and it's only you perceiving it differently with all the other smaller negative things going on. That kind of stuff makes one insecure and that's when doubt sets in. And if she doesn't, it's better to know it for sure than hang in limbo, isn't it? Glad to hear your dad is recovering. And I really hope the friends and girlfriend situations will take a positive turn too, one way or the other. Yeah it's really difficult and complicated. There aren't a whole lot of flats that Match my expectations (which are doubtlessly way too high) so it's a pretty supply led market we are looking at. The prices that were high to begin with in September when I started looking for a flat are now going up again. Which is pretty damn pathetic given that so many people told me not to rush things because the real estate bubble was going to burst sooner rather than later. Well the real estate bubble is bigger than ever and I have no idea what I'll eventually be able to buy in a month or two. we'll see how that goes, but I would love to watch GoT in a new place in July. I've wanted to have a talk for a while now but to be perfectly honest was too scared, because at least then I'd have something like a relationship to hold on to, no matter how skeletal. But it's high time now, that's why I'm taking her out for a date this weekend to hash things out. Whatever happens , happens. If the current place really is that unsatisfactory, how about for the time being you move out and rent a new place ? maybe even with roommates. Wait until prices come down to being reasonable again. I'd also advise for you to select an area that meets your criteria but is also budget friendly and be on the lookout there. There's always a case of someone wanting to sell off in a hurry and these people are content in bargain prices, if one's lucky enough it lands in your lap. Thats nice, I hope it works out and you have a great time in Finland. @Lord Sidious hope you have a better day today. So last night I started watching the Handmaid's Tale. I haven't read the novel, I might do so now, just out of curiosity. The show seems to be well made so far. What caught my attention, though, was how this dystopian order is built on massive logical black holes. That's why I want to read the book to see if that offers any explanation at all or we just have to roll with this. It's also interesting how often dystopian stories are centered around reproduction.
