GoT_Academy
Hey I have a theory that there will be a second red wedding before the end. It makes sense in several ways. Character arcs: The Starks have been the victims, it will be a compelling closure to their arc if they end up as the aggressors Sansa has been the prime victim in the story and maybe of the red wedding specifically. She was naive and will maybe become shady herself as she's looking to climb to the top of the ladder to prevent any of this happening again in the future. So she might instigate a second red wedding Tyrion was against the red wedding, maybe he'll end up being his father's true heir by pulling a Tywin Tyrion is backing Daenerys, but that doesn't seem destined to last. She's supposed to get betrayed and we've seen hints that he is not sure she would make a good ruler. Maybe he'll do it and give a Tywin-like rationalization Arya has will complete her death wish list and then maybe use her powers "for evil", no vengence, just plain doing something shitty If Daenerys and Jon get together before the end, all this could go down in their wedding. Tyrion preferring Sansa as a more reasonable person to sit on the throne, knowing Daenerys is crazy. And they'll use Arya. Jon will be spared, maybe eve though he'll wish to get shanked too. Sansa has many parallels with Elizabeth I, and maybe Daenerys is Elizabeth's cousin who also wanted to be queen but lost her head. It seems that there will be a big dramatic "bitter" moment before the end. That could be it, it could close many of the arcs in a compelling way. What do you think? Shouldve Taken The Black
Obviously this can't be disproven until the end of the books, but I seriously doubt GRRM will end his series with a massacre. He said the ending would be "bitter sweet", I fail to see the sweetness in this.
GoT_Academy
The sweetness will be that the realm will be stable and peaceful, more representative, not insane, the queen will be accepted by the big houses and without history of killing loads of people to conquer it. The world would be better, that could be the sweet part, we might feel that Westeros is better off.
