As I want to do away with my old tapedeck, I was sifting through my old 80's tapes.

The Jazz Butcher had a great single with a buzzing Modern Lovers' Roadrunner on the A side and...

oh hell yeah dude. been on a serious jr/ml kick for a while now

I'm practicing an acoustic version of this. Cold War Kids: Hang Me Up to Dry.

I learned to play guitar in high school by teaching myself, and that is something that I will never regret doing. I got started late but love it!

Yes, finally Yes makes the 2017 class of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees.

Quite an interesting and diverse group this year w/ Tupac, Journey, Pearl Jam, ELO, Joan Baez and Nile Rogers joining Yes as 2017 inductees.

Some interesting soul uploaded the entire (nearly 5 hours!) ceremony on Youtube-

Run down of the new albums out recently that I've listened to all the way through

Gorrilaz  new album is okay; has great guests and decent songs but im not in love with it, Hallelujah money is my fave track

Enjoying Maximo Park's new album, got a couple great tracks

The new cranberries album has some fantastic acoustic versions of their best songs like Zombie and Ridiculous Thoughts and I'm loving that

And the new abum by Mark Lanegan (Gargoyle) is fucking FANTASTIC - totally recommend that to all!!

On this day I should remember working class heroes as in Phil Ochs' Ballad of Joe Hill and Joe Hill's Rebel Girl.

Considering how we pissed away their sacrifices as told by the Art Bears The Song Of The Martyrs, I should get my ass up and stick it to the man as Atari Teenage Riot did 18 years ago.

But I'm just a tired old man taking solace in watching cat videos, such as

The Jazz Butcher - Love Kittens

Thunder Cat - A Fan's Mail (Tron Song Suite II)

Thunder Cat - Tron Song (Live on The Current)

Hey, you lovely people!!! :D

Am currently listening to some Marty Stuart, as well as some George Jones and Merle.  I'm kicking it old school, I guess.

Last night it was non-stop War on Drugs.  I'm a changeable creature.

Best song ever

Lady, you shot me by Har Mar Superstar

Song title are the alleged last words of legend Sam Cooke

My only question is how have I never heard of this har mar guy before? He's incredible.
