It is very good and very similar to Gomorrah. I'll be checking out that series.
SpaceChampion
People of Earth premiered in late October and season one finale was mid December. But season 2 starts later this month (July 24th): Great show, looking forward to this!
SpaceChampion
Apparently the Mormons have their own tv channel, run by Brigham Young University. BYUtv. And they got a sci-fi series from Orson Scott Card coming in October:

Did I catch a glimpse of the Samurai actor in that trailer though? I will be seeing this series regardless. On 14-7-2017 at 5:47 AM, Nictarion said: Sequel to Goon. If you're referring to the brief glimpse of that man through the doorway, yes it looks a little like the actor who plays Samurai, Claudio Amendola. I haven't seen any mention of him being in the series, though.
Calibandar
It might be because I see two or three other recurring actors as well.
Astromech
Looks like a different actor playing Samurai, but the same actors for Number 8, Manfredi Anacleti and Spadino Anacleti. I didn't recognize Number 8 clean-shaven with hair.

Argonath Diver
I don't see how it could be anything else, really. It would be really odd not to be.
polishgenius
I mean let's face it even if the words 'Abe Sapien', 'Hellboy', or 'BPRD' are never mentioned in-story, it's still pretty blatantly an Abe Sapien film.
