i'll just leave this here, the karate granddad.

Cobra Kai takes place thirty years after the original film and follows a "down-and-out Johnny Lawrence, who seeks redemption by reopening the infamous Cobra Kai karate dojo, reigniting his rivalry with a now successful Daniel LaRusso, who has been struggling to maintain balance in his life without the guidance of his mentor, Mr. Miyagi. The show is about two men addressing past demons and present frustrations the only way they know how: through karate."[1]

WTF is this real?  If so, I wants it immediately and hopefully in as goofy a fashion as possible.

All I can think of is Patton Oswalt's,  The Johnny Lawrence Story https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMsLvLshZBQ

I had completely forgotten they were doing this. I suppose I'll give it a try to see how good it is, but it's an uninspiring choice of show to remake.

Yeah, but they were inspired to get Toby Stephens, so I'll definitely give it a try.

First trailer for Fantastic Beasts 2

So 1930s Dumbledore was all in with the fashion of the day, 90s Dumbledore said fuck it, I'm just gonna wear a nightgown at work. :P

I wasn't impressed with the first movie, but this one looks interesting. Here's hoping that between Law and Depp, we can get a decent one.
