Fragile Bird
A Russian website posts links to webcams they've hacked around the world. Someone tipped the CBC in Canada to take a look at the pictures from a school's webcams in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/nova-scotia/rankin-school-students-security-video-camera-russian-website-1.2762291 Webcams are apparently extremely easy to hack, using Panasonic's iPhone app. You can take control of the cameras and move them remotely. Maybe your school's or workplace's or even your home's webcams are starring on Russian websites. I guess this is practice? A fun exercise?
maarsen
Since every time the camera took a picture, the phrase change password came up, a lot of the blame must rest on those that put up the cameras and then completely ignored the message that the password needed to be changed. Robin Of House Hill
It's the same thing with WiFi. Do you know how many people never change their WiFi's password from the default, or wors, have no password protection at all?
